This page is designed to assist you in filling out the blank spaces on
the order form. We simply need to know a little about your car and
your subs so we can cut the right holes and match the box to your interior
as closely as possible. So if you're unsure about the colors of your
car or if this is a gift and you need some help without spoiling a
surprise, then this page will help.
Product Colors
The top visible surface of all t-top and well boxes is
covered in vinyl and the lower portion is covered in speaker box
carpet. You get to choose which color combination that you want
for both the carpet and the vinyl.
Vinyl
When selecting your vinyl color, the
plastic panels in the back hatch are most important because that's what
is right next to the box. So matching the panels is more important
than the color of your seats or your dash.
For f-body years 1993-1999,
your vinyl choices are:
charcoal gray, light gray, tan, black, and white. Most f-bodies between 1993 and 1999 came with the slate or charcoal gray
interior. If you have a 93-99, and the rear interior panels look medium to
dark gray, then you have charcoal (our term for that particular
color).
For f-body years 2000-2002,
your vinyl choices are:
ebony, tan, black, white
Please note: Most 00-02s have Ebony
interior. Charcoal and Black are not valid selections for
years 00-02. Ebony
in this case is NOT black--it's a very dark gray color and it replaced
the charcoal shade in 2000. None of the 00-02's came
stock with "black" plastic panels in the back of the hatch, so
the only time anyone should select black vinyl is if they've
painted their panels black. If your interior looks black, back
your car out in the sun and look again and you'll see. You can
also consult your window sticker to verify your interior color.
Odds are that you have Ebony interior. Our ebony vinyl is 2-3
shades lighter than our black. If you choose black and it's too
dark, then that is your fault not ours. We cannot make this any
clearer to prevent mismatches.
Carpet
Nearly all 93-02 f-bodies have the charcoal gray trunkliner. This
is the carpet on the back wall leading clear down to the bottom of the
well. We do offer other colors to choose from as well. They
are: charcoal gray of course, black, and light gray. Simply choose the color
that matches best.
